We are seeking a dedicated Powered Access Engineer to join our dynamic team in the workshop. The ideal candidate will specialise in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of powered access equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of scissor lift machines to assess repair, replacement, or refurbishment needs, utilising initial field inspection reports.
• Perform standard diagnostic tests on machine components to determine their condition.
• Compile a detailed list of required parts and materials for machine preparation work.
• Perform overhaul, repair, or refurbishment tasks on scissor lifts in accordance with the agreed scope of work, which involves the removal and dispatching of components, as well as the installation of original or replacement parts.
• Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they operate at expected performance levels.

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Practical expertise in using specialised tools and equipment for repairing heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with slinging and jacking procedures.
