Job Description
Our Workshop Coffee Quality Control Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring that all refurbished bean‑to‑cup coffee machines leaving the Mossfield Mill workshop meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and performance. This position oversees the full refurbishment lifecycle, from initial assessment through to final sign‑off, ensuring that all engineering work aligns with company procedures and customer expectations.
Your Role:
- Conduct quality inspections of in-process materials, and finished coffee machines to ensure they meet the required standards
- Testing the performance and functionality of machines to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively
- Identifying and troubleshooting quality issues in machines and working closely with the production team to resolve them
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to maintain and improve machine quality
- Maintaining records and documentation of quality control processes and results
- Supervise Engineers and assign daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality issues and concerns
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in repair and maintenance of bean to cup coffee equipment desirable
- Basic understanding of electrical/electro-mechanical components.
- Experience with Hand Tools and Bench Fitting
- Working as part of a team and as an individual.
Desirables
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Mechanical & Electrical Engineer desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control desirable
- Knowledge of bean-to-cup coffee machine technology, electrical and mechanical systems, and diagnostics
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
