We have a great opportunity for a knowledgeable Technical Trainer to join our highly successful and rapidly growing business, being part of the Training Team, working in our Training Academy in Bury, Lancashire.

Our ideal candidate:

The trainer must be knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. Having knowledge of bakery, catering, hydraulic and coffee equipment is desirable however this can be learnt on the job. With experience in a trainer role, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way to both groups and individuals. The goal is to contribute to the development of people’s technical skills to meet organisational needs.

Essential

  • Electrical / mechanical qualifications or experience (ideally in a relevant field)

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with bakery, catering & coffee equipment
  • Hydraulic experience
  • Training qualification – i.e. Level 3 EAT
  • Assessor qualification
  • Computer literate
  • Experience with training design

Duties Include

  • Training all staff including our Reactive Engineers and Technicians either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
  • Training on programmes that could be Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic or Coffee based.
  • Delivering Classroom training as well as technical Installation, PPM and reactive maintenance training
  • Delivering a comprehensive bespoke induction programme to new starters across all disciplines
  • Facilitate and assist learners completing online HSE Online Training Modules.
  • Advising on the most appropriate training by individual, whether internal or external.
  • Maintaining and updating all training documentation and procedures as appropriate.
  • Develop new and existing training courses, manuals & SOP’s where appropriate.
  • Design and deliver bespoke training packages in line with business requirements
