We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our fast paced existing team, working to ensure stock levels are maintained in the most time efficient and cost effective manner.

Your Role

• To deal with customer sales orders in a timely manner.
• To ensure stock levels are maintained to a high level
• To ensure parts are sourced quickly and in a cost-efficient manner.
• Expediting the stock whilst building supplier relationships.
• Identify any potential cost savings for the business.
• Daily contact with up to 500 worldwide suppliers.
• Liasing with customers and suppliers via email and telephone.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous purchasing experience in dealing with Cost reductions, Spare Parts, Sourcing parts, Order acknowledgments, identifying parts and problem solving would be preferred.
• Raising Purchase Orders
• Good knowledge and understanding of Website ordering
• Computer Literate, ability to use Excel would be preferred
• Knowledge of the Siclops Software system (Not essential)
• Knowledge of bakery & catering equipment would be advantageous
• A good telephone manner and ability to deal efficiently with customers and suppliers queries
