Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for the role of HR Administrator to join Millers Vanguard, based in Bury. Millers Vanguard employs over 400 employees and this role is available due to the expansion of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding – supporting new employees through the new starter process including contracts of employment, new starter documentation, reference requests, booking accommodation.
  • Offboarding process and paperwork.
  • Updating and maintaining employee records and changes including leave, absence, terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements including GDPR.
  • Building effective relationships with line managers, employees and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the HR inbox and provide first line support to staff queries, ensuring these are dealt with promptly, accurately and professionally.
  • Generating HR reports.

  • The role will suit someone who is looking to develop their HR career.
  • The ideal candidate will possess previous administration experience, excellent communication skills, be professional and maintaining confidentiality is essential. The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous administration experience in an HR environment is desirable, along with a good understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience of working with varying levels of seniority.
  • Friendly, professional, approachable and personable.
