Job Description

Millers Vanguard is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Field Auditor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect by carrying out audits of our field-based engineering and deep-clean teams across the UK.

As a Field Auditor, you will conduct spot inspections at customer sites, assessing the quality of work delivered, compliance with health and safety procedures, professional conduct, and adherence to company standards. Your findings will help drive continuous improvement and ensure consistency across our nationwide operations.

This role requires regular travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays, and would suit an organised individual who is comfortable working independently.

Your Role:

  • Conduct field audits of engineering and deep-clean teams across the UK.
  • Assess workmanship, quality standards, professional presentation, and customer-site conduct.
  • Verify compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and the correct use of PPE.
  • Complete audits using predefined criteria and accurately record findings.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Produce clear, concise audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Plan and manage your own audit schedule to maximise regional coverage and efficiency.
  • Undertake additional inspections, surveys, and audit activities as requested by the Board.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • The ability to remain objective, fair, and consistent when assessing standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own workload.
  • A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • The ability to analyse information and produce professional reports.
  • A willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK, including overnight stays.
  • A Full UK driving licence.

Desirables

  • Previous experience within a field service, audit, compliance, quality, or inspection role.
  • Knowledge of bakery, catering, or foodservice equipment.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to management teams.
