Job Description

Reporting to the Service Manager, The Automatic Door Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring all work carried out on Automatic doors is carried out within current legal regulation.

The main responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and solutions to our service/repair/installation teams.
  • Ensure all documents and technical publications are correct and up to date.
  • To assist the Training Department with training objectives.
  • To ensure all power access servicing is carried out as per customer contracts.
  • Advise on warehouse and van stock.

Ideal Candidate:

5+ years experience from the same industry (automatic doors), will consider a senior engineer looking for the next step.
Happy to go to sites nationwide if required. Have a broad amount of technical and compliance knowledge which spans across a range of automatic door manufactures. Good communication skills with all internal business colleagues and external customers. ADSA accreditation to EN 16005 and BS 7036 1996 and BS 7036-0 2014. Solutions driven with a can-do attitude and passion to enhance and expand knowledge, skills and experience.
