Commercial Equipment Advisor
Job Role: Commercial Equipment Advisor
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 0800-1700
Location: Millers Vanguard Operations Centre – Bury
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Develop a working technical knowledge of our equipment to confidently advise customers and internal teams.
- Liaise directly with key stakeholders including suppliers, manufacturers, engineers, and senior client contacts.
- Prepare accurate quotes for ad hoc works, factoring in technical requirements and client needs.
- Proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of queries and projects.
- Generate reports on sales, orders, and customer interactions to support strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a commercial, sales support, or technical advisory role – ideally within equipment supply or a similar industry.
- Willingness to learn the technical side of our commercial catering and bakery equipment (full training provided).
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, clients, and engineers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-ups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service.
