Job Title: Electrical Compliancy Manager

Location: Bury Lancs
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Compliancy Manager to oversee electrical safety and compliance across our business units. This is a critical role ensuring that all electrical maintenance and installations meet statutory regulations and internal standards. This is a mobile role which will require travel across the UK, ideally based near our Operations Centre in Bury but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the appointed Electrical Duty Holder under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
  • Ensure all maintenance work that carry an electrical risk is carried out in accordance with the Group Electrical Safety Handbook
  • Support Facilities Manager for any electrical work being undertaken
  • Conduct risk & audit assessments and implement safe systems of work both in the field and within the workshop
  • Provide training and guidance on electrical safety procedures

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or compliance
  • Strong understanding of EAWR 1989 and HSE guidance
